Gabriel Field
Gabriel Field, born in Lebanon in 1992, began learning piano and violin at a very young age. His father, Dominique, a classical guitar maker, greatly contributed to enriching his musical education. He completed his musical studies with Stéphane Delplace, Anthony Girard, and Edith Canat de Chizy.Gabriel Field now writes for all ensembles, from soloists to large symphony orchestras. His music is rooted in a traditional tonal and modal language, exploring both beauty and sorrow. It is essentially harmonic, dissonant, and melancholic. He is also deeply drawn to sacred music, both for its emotional power and for the sense of contemplation it evokes.He collaborated with the writer Marie Nimier on 'Le Monde de Nounouille' (a literary concert for young children) and with numerous performers, including organist Adam Bernadac, soprano Anne Rodier, guitarist Antoine Guerrero, and others. He is also a founding member of the Association 'Les Compositeurs Associés'.In addition, he founded Bespoke Music Publishing, a publishing house specializing in educational music, which publishes methods and collections for various levels and ensembles.
